If you are visiting Brussels or if you live here, you should check out the many activities of the association Décalage.
Created in 2001 by a group of travel loving friends, the brilliant team of Décalage organises holidays abroad and cultural and sports activities in Belgium, all adapted for people who have a mobility disability and their friends and family all together.
Their holidays are very adventurous, and their specialty is making the non-accessible accessible: from Uzbekistan to India, from camping out in the wild in the Ardennes, to exploring Ireland on their famous adapted van, the “DecaMobile”, you will certainly not be bored with them. The group is French speaking but totally open to new friends joining in from all over the world.
Twice a month you can join the Décalage dancers in their practice sessions of wheelchair dancing, they usually practice in the Eastern part of Brussels, at the ARA Room in Woluwe Saint-Pierre, in an indoor space. Just drop an email to info @ decalage . be and ask when the next occasion is!
Want to be part of a great group of travellers and make new friends? Here are the next tours organised by Décalage: all guided tours and activities are in French. If you are interested in one or more tours, contact them directly at the email address info @ decalage.be. If you leave your email address, they can inform you when the full program and itinerary of each tour is completed, and tours are open for booking.
