This tour is the power wheelchair accessible version of the classic 12 day Bali round trip, and it is a splendid holiday for those who are looking to relax at the beach, but who also want to know more about the local traditions and lifestyle, both things keeping an eye on sustainability and truly experiencing a region.
This tour is organised by Accessible Indonesia, and like all their tours, there is a lot to see and do: you will spend time at the beach (with beach wheelchairs available) and then visit temples, meet the locals with a farmer’s walk that will take you into people’s houses to share a meal. But you will also visit wildlife centers, “meet” some animals in local animal rescue centers, and if you want there is the opportunity to do some adaptive water sports with trained instructors.
Also, it will be a Zero waste holiday as much as possible! We care for the environment and the people.
We are currently waiting to know if tours are possible and under which conditions: if you want to have some information or ask for a quote, contact us using the enquiry form on the top right hand side of this page, or using the Contacts page.
Bali is a tourist destination and as such, it is better equipped than other parts of Indonesia for travellers with a mobility impairment. You will stay in wheelchair accessible hotels verified by the team of Accessible Indonesia and the van which will be used has a lift and air conditioning. Please note that everything can be customised according to your rythm and needs.
This tour is suitable for power wheelchair users: all is equipped to make the transfers smooth and let you enjoy fully the holiday. The full duration of the tour, included the journey, is of 14 days (including the flights), you will have assistance, if needed, also for the arrival and departure.
For travelers with visual impairments: we can organise an assisted tour adjusted to experience other senses (Indonesia is a land of flavours and tastes after all!)
For people who are hearing impaired: we can organise a SL interpreter, contact us so we can find the right one for you.
Please note that prior to any booking, we will be in contact with you to make sure that every aspect of the trip is suited to your needs.
