Some streets are paved with cobblestone, others with concrete and others with gravel stone. Portobelo is in the North coast, 2 hours from Panama City and you may expect sand, gravel stone and cobblestone.
For travelers in wheelchairs, an assistant will be provided at specific sites. Please note that this tour will require to roll/walk a lot but will go at your pace!

Upon arrival in Panama City, your guide will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign with your name to assist you in your transfer to the hotel.
How about visiting two different sites where the modern engineering meets with the ancient history on the same day? Visiting the Miraflores Visitor Center on the Pacific side makes it possible.
This is a space where you can live a unique centennial Panama Canal experience. In one place you will find different activities to learn and fully enjoy the Panama Canal. Exhibition halls or just watching the ships through the locks and how they move makes it the ideal place to take pictures and to hold memories of this engineering marvel. Later we will discover the Calzada de Amador, an amazing area constructed in 1913, with rocks excavated from the Culebra Court during the construction of the Panama Canal, that forms four islands: Naos, Perico, Culebra and Flamenco.
Then enjoy wandering a historical tour in the second city known as the Old Town or Old Quarter. This historical site was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This tour includes stunning views from the modern city with its skyscrapers and international banking district.
Located two hours from Panama City, we are ready to snorkel in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy a boat ride while the wind messes up with your hair. With incredible views of the mountains and the Atlantic sea, we will stop in some wonderful spots for snorkeling and have lunch on a private island! Then, we will visit the Spanish defense site of the 17th and 18th centuries, where we will admire one of the historic forts. Your specialized guide will tell you the story of famous pirates and the transfer of gold and silver that came from South America.
As on the first day, a company representative will be responsible for the transfer to the International Airport for your flight home.
